OverviewKiristen is a Health and Physical Education teacher from Stone Mountain, Georgia. She currently lives in St. Paul, Minnesota where she is slowly but surely adjusting to the cold weather yet loving the change of scenery. To gain more knowledge in the field of health and physical education and to better serve her students, Kiristen is working towards earning her PhD in Health and Human Performance from Concordia University Chicago. Sports have always been a major part of Kiristen's life, as she played basketball throughout grade school, high school, and college. Though she includes a bit of fiction, through this children's book, which is the first of many, Kiristen is able to share a bit of her upbringing as an athlete and love for the sport of basketball. She also delves into a bit of her growing pains as a daughter and big sister, and the strong bond and ideal love that can be formed by siblings who care for one another.
