Schimmel is an associate professor in the School of Counseling & Well-Being at West Virginia University who teaches counseling techniques, group counseling, and counseling children and adolescents. She is also a licensed professional counselor with more than 20 years of clinical and teaching experience. Sarah I. Springer, Ph.D., LPC, ACS is an associate professor in the Department of Professional Counseling at Monmouth University. A former school counselor, she specializes in counselor development, group counseling, supervision, and counseling in schools. Kathleen L. Grant (Ph.D., Montclair State University) is assistant professor in the Department of Counselor Education at The College of New Jersey.
