In this book we introduce to the reader some concepts and issues related to wildlife conservation in India. We discuss important wildlife species, laws, protected areas and sanctuaries and organizations in the field of wildlife conservation in India. It is hoped that this book will provide the interested reader with useful information about conservation of natural wildlife.
