Zorek, PharmD, BCGP, is the Director of Linking Interprofessional Networks for Collaboration, the Quality Enhancement Plan at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio) dedicated to campus-wide advancement of interprofessional education (IPE). Dr. Zorek is a tenured Associate Professor with specialty training in geriatrics who teaches advanced pharmacotherapeutics to graduate students. His work in IPE has been recognized with national and international awards, and he recently co-authored a national consensus guidance on developing quality IPE for the health professions. Prior to leading UT Health San Antonio's IPE efforts, Dr. Zorek served as Director of IPE and Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy, where he was a founding member of the university-wide Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education.
