K. S. James is Director and Senior Professor at the International Institute for Population Sciences, Deemed University, Mumbai. He works extensively on demographic changes with focus on population and development and ageing issues. He has published widely on demographic transition and demographic dividend in leading journals such as Science, Lancet Global Health, Social Science and Medicine, Population Studies, BMC Public Health, Ageing International, Ageing and Society, Journal of Ageing and Health, Brown Journal of World Affairs, Maternal and Child Health Journal, and Economic and Political Weekly. T. V. Sekher is Professor at International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai. He is trained in Demography and Sociology and his areas of research interests lie in social demography, gender issues and population ageing. He was Fulbright-Nehru Senior Fellow at Cornell University and is the Principal Investigator of Longitudinal Ageing Study in India.
