Cathy has combined the idea of engaging children into the reading process, cementing what they are reading with the important notion of appreciating loved ones. Her books I’m Glad you’re my… (Mum, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunty, Uncle, Teacher and Friend) have been launched both in Australia and in the UK. With over 20 years of experience teaching, and working with children, Cathy knows what makes kids tick. Illustrator: Danielle McDonald began her career designing children’s products for various industries including toys, bedding, furniture, art and craft materials and apparel. She turned her attention to illustration when she became a mother and has gone on to create several well-loved characters for book series that include Ella Diaries, Ella and Olivia, Olivia’s Secret Scribbles and Tracy Lacy.
