Ann Rule (1931-2015) drew on her experience as a former policewoman to become one of America's top true-crime writers. The author of over 1,000 articles and numerous books, she lectured widely to law-enforcement schools and agencies. She also served as a consultant to the FBI's Violent Criminal Apprehension Program. Her New York Times bestsellers include Every Breath You Take, Practice to Deceive, and Heart Full of Lies. This was followed by commercial and documentary recording in both English and Italian.
