"Mark Renz was the founding president of the Paleontological Society of Lee County, FL. He currently operates Fossil Expeditions guide service in SW Florida, with his artist wife Marisa. Mark has written many books, including ""Fossiling In Florida,"" (University Press of Florida), which is a general over-view of Florida's vertebrate fossil past; ""MEGALODON: Hunting the Hunter,"" (PaleoPress), about an extinct 60 ft. long shark that dined on whales; ""Giants In The Storm,"" (PaleoPress) about a 500,000 year-old mammoth, mastodon and horse site Mark discovered in LaBelle, FL; and ""Desert Sharks"" (PaleoPress), about a Peruvian desert expedition Mark took to better understand the evolution of the Great White Shark. More recently, he has also released several new books of ecology-based photography/poetry/prose entitled ""Naturally Twisted: A Wild Look At The Wild"" and ""Naturally Twisted Too,"" and his current book, ""I Pooped!""
