Author Information

Simon Mole is an award-winning performance poet and author of childrens books. His groundbreaking one-man show Indiana Jones and the extra chair' sold out two London runs, and toured nationally, while hi second, No More Worries, toured nationally in 2015 - reaching over 1200 audience at 9 venues, including Latitude and Wilderness festivals. His first theatre piece for children, Friends For All, was commissioned by the V&A in 2016 and has since toured around England. He has a vast amount of experience across the UK, creating workshops for schools, Pupil Referral Units, museums, prisons, and hospitals. His first picture book, Kites, was published in 2019 and his second, I Love My Bike, will publish in 2021. Simon lives in Maidenhead, Berkshire.Sam Usher spent most of his childhood reading, drawing and forgetting to do his schoolwork. His debut picture book, Can You See Sassoon?, was shortlisted for the Waterstones Childrens Book Prize and the Red House Award. He has since written and illustrated We are Not Frogs by Michael Morpurgo (Barrington Stoke), Refuge by Anne Booth (Nosy Crow) and two of his own stories: Snow and Rain (Templar Publishing). He lives in London, where he enjoys trespassing and playing the piano.
