Overview

Rainbows exist beyond the visual construction of the naked eye. The definition of a rainbow is far beyond the colors that streak across the sky. This story explores creative appearances of rainbows from a child's view. Quinn shared her vision at the age of three and refined it age six. It's an interactive workbook geared to pre-school and kindergarten age children which lends itself to common core friendly skill building activities such as: recognition of rhyming words, responding to questions, recognition of placement and stimulating creative thought.

Author Information

"Quinn Perkins, an unexpected miracle to her parents Amanda J. Perkins and Clive Butler, was born on August 29, 2007. Quinn's parents have the gift of gab and creativity so it's only fitting that she was graced with those gifts as well. Quinn truly lives up to the phrase ""out of the mouths of babes."" As with all children, witty words and prose flow as they find their voice. At the age of three Quinn was talking to her mother about rainbows. Her mother found it to be interesting and quickly took notes with the silent promise of creating a simple children's book. Three years later that silent promise has been brought to fruition. Quinn has been engaged from wording to illustrations to design. She was extremely excited and motivated."
