He leads the Research Centre for Schools, Colleges and Teacher Education, and lectures on research methods. He has previously lectured at Kingston University, Bath Spa University and the University of Southampton. At Edge Hill, he directs the research centre for Schools, Colleges and Teacher Education (SCaTE) and teaches research methods on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. He has published numerous academic articles. His work has appeared in Croatian, Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish, and Slovene publications. Dr Susan Graves is Senior Research Fellow in the Faculty of Education at Edge Hill University. She has previously lectured at Liverpool John Moores University following a career teaching on Higher Education courses in Further Education Colleges in the North West.
