Die Autorin: Andrea Bachmann-Stein studierte Germanistik und Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der Universität des Saarlandes. Nach Abschluss des Studiums war sie dort als Lehrbeauftragte tätig. Seit 2003 ist die Autorin Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Germanistik der Universität Koblenz-Landau, Abteilung Landau. Ihre Hauptarbeitsgebiete sind Text- und Gesprächslinguistik, Semantik, Pragmatik und historische Sprachwissenschaft.
