Overview

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Horahora River is a short river of Northland, New Zealand. It is formed from the confluence of the Waitangi River and Taheke River, which meet close to the Pacific Ocean coast 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) northeast of Whangarei. It flows into the Pacific at Ngunguru Bay, three kilometres south of Ngunguru. The Northland Region (MA ori: Te Tai-tokerau, also Te Hiku-o-te-Ika, 'the Tail of the Fish (of Maui)'), one of the 16 regions of New Zealand, is, as the name suggests, the northernmost of New Zealand's administrative regions. The main centre is the city of Whangarei.
