Author Information

Sarah Senne grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and now lives in Allen, Texas with her husband. She completed her undergraduate degree in Habilitation for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at Texas Christian University. She works as a deaf education teacher to preschool students. Her interests include swimming, scrapbooking, volleyball, and dance. Teresa Dennett Gonzalez is certified to teach Deaf Education and General Education students. She presently teaches in the Habilitation of the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing program within the Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences, the Davies School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Texas Christian University. Her interest involves the use of multisensory strategies when teaching young children to read as well as addressing the literacy needs of struggling readers.
