Overview

Daniel doesn't want to read Cinderella for class, so he comes up with a crafty plan. He pays his twin sister, Sarita, to read the book and tell him about it. However, the story Sarita tells Daniel isn't the Cinderella you know. In Sarita's tale, Cinderella's a total brat until her stepsisters do something nice for her. When Daniel tells this version to the class, his classmates have a good laugh but his teacher's not amused - and neither is Daniel's mother. A story within a story, Sarita and Daniel tackle themes of honesty, family relationships and forgiveness while keeping young readers engaged and entertained.
