Dennis Nilsen was jailed for life in 1983 after the murders of 12 men and the attempted murders of many more. Seven years after his conviction, Nilsen began to write his autobiography, and over a period of 18 years, he typed 6,000 pages of introspection, reflection, comment, and explanation. Dennis Nilsen (1945 - 2018) was a Scottish serial killer and necrophile who murdered at least twelve young men and boys between 1978 and 1983 in London, England. Dr. Mark Pettigrew is an award-winning researcher and criminologist who, after completing his doctoral research on death row incarceration in the United States, went on to publish extensively on whole life imprisonment in England. His current research interests include sexual paraphilias and adult homicide, homicide dynamics, and crime scene behaviours of sexually motivated killers. Alex Robertson is an in-demand narrator with a background in film and stage acting.
