Overview

Conflicts require a process to guide the belligerents from the battle field to mutual cooperation. But how does one provide the conflict stabilization for this peace process to operate? Author Information

Terry M. Mays is Professor of Political Science at The Citadel in Charleston, SC, where he specializes in peacekeeping, international organizations, and African international and comparative politics since 1992. He is a retired Army Lieutenant-Colonel. He is the author of Historical Dictionary of the American Revolution, Third Edition, and Historical Dictionary of International Organizations in Africa and the Middle East.
