She is the author of Female Sexualization (Verso, 1987) and Beyond female masochism: memory-work and politics (Verso, 1980). Peter Jehle, Dr., associate professor of Romance Studies at Potsdam University. He is a co-editor of Antonio Gramsci's Prison Notebooks in German and published monographs on Gramsci, Werner Krauss, and Cultural Hegemony in the French and Spanish Enlightenment.
