Dr I. G. Govender is a Senior Lecturer at the Durban University of Technology, South Africa and has lectured for 17 years in various higher education institutions. His focus is on local government and governance, monitoring and evaluation, and community development. He has published extensively in the fields of local government and governance and the related performance monitoring and evaluation systems. He is currently working on a book on monitoring and evaluation to enhance performance management.
