Overview

TGham Institute Goal My goal is a change the way the average Black American think about reading and writing. I myself, did not like to read or write anything until I was 60 years old. This would have never happen if one of my grand daughters told me she hated Black History Month. I ask her why? She said all they talked about was Slavery and Rosa Parks, Which made me feel sad. I told her Slavery was the best thing that happen to the Black race. If Slavery had never happen the Black man would not exist in the United States. Let me explain. The Black race is the only race that was forced to come to the United States as Slaves. This was a blessing because the Black race in America have changed the World for the betterment of racial harmony. Interracial marriage is producing great Americans, President Barak Obama for one. And there are many more bi-racial Americans that have changed White American attitude toward Black Americans. Of course there is more work to be done for our Black youth. They suffer from the lack of knowledge. This is why I created Help Save our Black Youths (Knowledge is the Key). Today, Blacks are their own worst enemy from the lack of knowledge, school drop outs, drugs and killing themselves over it. Gipson's Academy Inc. goal is to educate and give Black boys hope to live in this Society and participate in all types of opportunities America has to offer instead of destroying their lives. There is hope with Gipson's Academy Inc. and Black leaders from the President down to the average blue collar worker. Lets face it, Blacks can't all be Sport figures, Rappers or Movie Stars. Let's get real folks, entertainers success is for only a short season. What will they do after fame? We all depend on each other. So, I want the United State to focus on the Black madness that's going on in our major Cities. This can be solved if sensible people from all walks of life get together and fight this demon with knowledge. Therlee Gipson
