Shelly Unwin grew up in a tiny English village where she was surrounded by animals, the occasional pixie fairy and her best friend Cracker, a feisty palomino pony. She lives in Canberra, Australia with her husband, two children and her cute cavoodle, Biscuit. J­edda Robaard is a children's book illustrator and author whose work is well known internationally, having been published in many languages, including English, French, Dutch, Greek, Italian, Korean and Chinese. Jedda grew up in a small town on the island of Tasmania, Australia.
