He was selected for the One Hundred Talents Program by CAS in 2000, and awarded the National Science Fund of China for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2006. He also received the Second Prize of the Science and Technology Award of Beijing, Government Special Allowance of China, and Zhu Li Yue Hua Excellent Teacher Award of CAS. Prof. Chen started his independent research work at ICCAS in 2001, and so far he has been the author of more than 220 scientific publications. His current research interests include supramolecular chemistry based on novel synthetic hosts, organic functional materials, and helicene chemistry. Yun Shen received his Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Chen at ICCAS in 2014, where his research focused on the synthesis of helicenes and their applications in asymmetric catalysis. After graduation, he did postdoctoral research on high energy density cathode material for lithium ion battery at Cornell University with Prof. Héctor D. Abruña. He co-founded the Lionano Inc., and serves as CTO for the development of clean energy techniques and materials. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
