Author Information

Aquilina Mawadza holds a Ph.D. in Media and Migration Studies and and M.A. in Languages and Communications from the University of Florida, where she also taught Shona. She is the author of Beginner's Shona and Shona-English/ English-Shona Dictionary & Phrasebook, both published by Hippocrene Books. She resides in Cape Town, South Africa. Philip Hayab John holds a Ph.D. in African Languages, Literatures and Linguistics from Stellenbosch University in South Africa. His academic and research focus is on the identity of the Ham settlement in Nigeria (from which he hails), with primary data written in Hyam, his mother tongue. He is also author of Realism in African Literature: African Arts and Depiction of Reality (2011).He currently resides in Nigera.
