(UOM, 1997), an M.S. in Civil Engineering (University of South Florida (USF), 2001), and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (University of Florida (UF), 2005). He has published 50 research papers in peer-reviewed journals, and in 2014 he received a presidential award for his scientific publications.
