She helps individuals and couples identify and make changes in their personal and professional lives to enhance their sense of satisfaction and wellbeing. Dr. Bridbord also works with organizations to maximize the investment in their most valuable asset - their people - by improving workplace-related dynamics. Her philosophy is simple: there is reciprocity between the functioning of the individual and the functioning of the business. Healthy individuals lead to healthy organizations and personal effectiveness leads to organizational effectiveness. Janice DeLucia is an Associate Professor in Counseling, School, and Educational Psychology at the University at Buffalo, SUNY and program director for the School Counseling Program. She is currently the ASGW Executive Director, ASGW Past President, and former editor of the Journal for Specialists in Group Work. She is a fellow in ACA, ASGW, and APA Division 49: Group Psychology and Group Psychotherapy. Dr. Jennifer Kleiner, Ph.D., was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Neuropsychology at the New Orleans VA and the Tulane Cancer Center. She is the recipient of the ASGWVicki E. Bowman Outstanding Graduate Student Scholarship. Dr. Amy Nitza is the Director of the Institute for Disaster Mental Health at SUN New Paltz. She has served as ASGW President and Secretary, and Newsletter Editor. In 2008-2009, Dr. Nitza was awarded a William J. Fulbright Scholarship to teach and conduct research at the University of Botswana. Her work as a Fulbright Scholar involved developing and implementing a prevention group for adolescent girls at risk of contracting HIV/AIDS in Botswana, as well as conducting research on group processes and therapeutic factors in groups in that country.
