OverviewIn this book, supervisors share more than 50 activities for the supervision of group work. Activities are organized across four sections: Facilitating Group Development and Process, Model-Based Interventions, Theory-Based Interventions, and Expressive/Creative Arts in Supervision. Each section begins with a detailed introduction by an expert who provides a current literature review. The group development activities are designed to assist supervisors in their ability to recognize and facilitate the group process, whereas the model- and theory-based activities will help supervisors ground their group work in familiar counseling and supervision frameworks. The activities in the Expressive/Creative Arts section contain action-based methods for use in the supervision of group work.
