Cohen is a civil trial attorney representing business litigation parties in state & federal courts, bankruptcy courts, and in Bais Din arbitration in Los Angeles, CA. He is an Orthodox Jew, descending from 80 generations of rabbis. His 171/2 year old beloved daughter Hindy died on February 23, 2004 at 4:33pm, on Rosh Chodesh Adar after a 21/2 year battle to cancer (Ewings Sarcoma). While in the throes of his own tragedy, never in a million years did he ever dream that he would one day have the clarity to reclaim happiness. His grief was a black hole that consumed his soul. While he was in ground zero, he was pain. and was synonymous with pain. But with God's help and through a lot of hard work, he went from being pain, to having pain. The pain migrated slowly out of his body and conscience. The book charts Baruch's personal growth through Torah insights. What follows herein, is a collection of 14 years of these Chiddushei Torah that chart Baruch's spiritual journey beyond grief. This book is filled with words of Chizuk and Nechama to uplift others going through difficult times; to transcend the trauma and reclaim Simcha in our lives. All in Hindy's merit. You might know someone going through a hard time. You yourself might be experiencing a painful personal Nisayon. This book is carefully designed to validate pain, and offer glimpses of hope. Sharing this book with a Chaver in emotional pain would be a tremendous Mitzvah and a Zechus for Hindy's memory. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
