Doctor in Law ( 1981), full professor of law ( 1982), Laurence Idot taught European Law and Competition Law at the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University (1993-2007) and at the University Paris II Panthéon-Assas (2007 to 2018). Member of the College of the French Competition Authority from 2009 to 2019, Laurence Idot has also worked as an arbitrator, practitioner and consultant. Author of numerous articles and publications on European law and competition law and member of scientific committees of various French and foreign journals, she is also co-director of the magazine Europe since its creation in 1991.
