Author Information

Ted DeGroot is a veteran of over two dozen for-profit and nonprofit boards of directors, frequently in a board leadership position. Governance for Nonprofits is the result of over four decades of studying boards of directors operations and noting what makes some boards highly successful and some not so. DeGroot is a native of Michigan and a graduate of Michigan State University. He currently lives and works in Naples, Florida.
