Overview

Meet Goggles Baller, the little basketball player with big dreams from the sunny town of Hoopville. Goggles has one wish: to shine as a star player on his school's basketball team. But there's a catch-Goggles needs glasses, and not just any glasses, but sports goggles to see clearly on the court. At first, he thinks they look silly and worries everyone will laugh at him. Can Goggles overcome his fears and show everyone, including himself, what he's truly made of? Join Goggles Baller as he navigates the challenges of self-acceptance and determination in this heartwarming tale. With every dribble, pass, and shot, Goggles discovers the power of embracing what makes you different. It's a story about sportsmanship, friendship, and finding confidence, both on and off the basketball court. Perfect for young readers, Goggles Baller is a slam dunk for anyone who's ever faced a challenge and dared to dream big.

Author Information

Stephanie Rudnick is a former University of Toronto basketball player and the founding owner of Elite Camps, one of the largest basketball organizations of its kind in Canada. She is a wife and a mother of three athletes who share her passion for basketball. She became inspired to start writing because she saw a need for books that helped kids and their families navigate the ups and downs of the basketball journey. She also hopes that her book series inspires parents to embrace both the highs and lows of the basketball journey for the valuable life lessons they provide.
