OverviewFrom the Author: This book is dedicated to Black children who end up in foster care, due to no fault of their own. I looked for books to explain adoption to a little Black boy around 1998 and there was nothing available in the book stores. I could not find any children's books about foster care or adoption for any child, let alone for Black children. I wrote this book because I learned of how many children are in the foster care system in different states I have lived in. I had also taught some adults who had aged out of foster care. This book explains how children end up in foster care and the hope of being adopted. I hope this book shines some light on foster care and adoption for little people in every ethnicity and at every age. I want them to know that God loves them and He will see them thru the worst of times, as He has a purpose for them, if they just let Him show them how worthy they are to Him.
