Author Information

Stephen Frawley is Research Director at the Centre for Business and Social Innovation (CBSI), located at the University of Technology Sydney. Prior to joining academia, Stephen worked in the Sport Division for the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee (SOCOG). Laura Misener is Associate Professor and Acting Director at the School of Kinesiology, Faculty of Health Science, at Western University, Canada. Her research interests include the social impact of sport and events; disability sport and the Paralympic Games; physical activity and sport policy analysis; and the intersections of sport, physical activity, and health promotion. Daniel Lock is a Principal Academic and the Head of Research and Professional Practice in the Department of Sport and Physical Activity at Bournemouth University; an Adjunct Associate Professor in Sport Management at Griffith University, Australia; and an Associate Editor of Sport Management Review. Nico Schulenkorf is Associate Professor of Sport Management at University of Technology Sydney. His research focusses on the social, cultural, and health-related outcomes of sport and event projects within and between disadvantaged communities.
