Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDr. Richard Lee is a Board-certified practicing cardiac surgeon at Saint Louis University where he is a Professor of Surgery, Vice-Chairman of Surgery and Co-Director for the Center of Comprehensive Cardiovascular Care. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Northwestern University, his Medical Degree at the University of Illinois and his Masters of Business Administration at Washington University. He completed internship at the Medical College of Wisconsin, General Surgery Training at Rush University and Cardiothoracic training at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Lee completed a fellowship in Adult Cardiac Surgery and Heart Transplantation at the Cleveland Clinic while he was President of the Thoracic Surgery Residents Association. He has published over 70 original research papers and currently serves as an Associate Editor of the Annals of Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Lee served on the medical school admissions committees at Rush, Northwestern and Saint Louis University for over a decade. He has also served as Residency Program Director in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Northwestern University and Associate Program Director at Saint Louis University.
