Motivation Bible Commentary (MBC) is a paradigm shift and counter logical to the way I used to read the book of Genesis. The author unpacks the complexities of the creation events and weave them into a beautiful thematic grouping. BMC retains in its thesis that God is the indisputable creator of all things and he created man and woman in his image (imago Dei) and co-creators with Him. How the author simplifies the biblical theology of vocation and the cultural mandate given to man (male and female) in creation hierarchy is matchless. I am able to see the fidelity of work ethics as the bedrock of creation in the Motivation Bible Commentary. As a Bible student, I have read the book of Genesis from exegetical standpoint to Hebrew cosmogony but never from a devotional point of view as elucidated in MBC. I will use the Motivation Bible Commentary for my morning devotional guide henceforth. For any Christian who wants God to speak to him through creation, Motivation Bible Commentary is it, and it will arm you with valuable worship insights in creation, environment, marriage, economics and politics. I know every person who comes in contact with Motivation Bible Commentary will experience the Trinitarian Joy and the Trinitarian Peace. -Stephen S. Seth Kajang is truly insightful in his treatment of Genesis. He meticulously identifies the key teachings in each part of the book, and skillfully exhorts the reader on how he or she can put those teachings into practice in their daily lives. He is a Yale-trained scholar, and his disciplined approach is evident throughout the entire commentary. However, what impressed me the most was his humility in simply wanting the reader to understand the divinely inspired message of this ancient book and provide concrete ways that they can start living out its teachings today. Author Information

Seth B. Kajang has several graduate degrees in Ethics, Philosophy, Education, Theology, and Religion. His most recent academic degrees are a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Westminster Theological Seminary Philadelphia, and a Master of Sacred Theology (STM) from Yale University. Seth has been a Pastor for several years and has also taught divergent classes in four different Seminaries over the span of a decade. He is the Founder and Lead Pastor of Replica Church in New Haven, Connecticut where he, his wife, and three children currently reside.
