Overview

The central north of New South Wales is the home of the Gamilaraay and Yuwaalaraay people. The Gamilaraay and Yuwaalaraay languages (or simply 'GY') are undergoing a major revival, with language programs in a number of schools, in TAFE and universities. This picture dictionary covers the important basic GY words for the first-time language learner.
