LEPING LIU, PhD, is Professor and Chair of the Department of EducationalPsychology, Counseling and Human Development, at the University of Nevada, Reno.She teaches courses on the application of technology in education, applied educationalpsychology, and statistics. Her research interests focus on integration of technology inclassroom/online teaching and learning, technology and mathematical thinking, multimedia learning environment and cognitive development, technology in counselingskill training, design of online teaching, assessment and evaluation, and researchmodeling. She has authored many professional articles and authored/co-authored fifteenbooks. She is the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Technology in Teachingand Learning. WENZHEN LI, MS, is PhD Candidate at the Department of Educational Psychology, Counseling and Human Development at the University of Nevada, Reno. She has beenteaching online information technology courses for the department. Her research anddesign interests focus on integrating multimedia applications into online teaching. Shehas presented several academic papers at international conferences, and has publishedseveral refereed articles and co-authored two textbooks.
