Author Information

Gregory Pendleton Jr. is a man that believes in the saying that the children are our future. Most of his life was dedicated in the service of others. His six years of working for the Department of Juvenile Justice and working with at-risk youth has given him a wealth of knowledge and experience needed in order to be an effective witness of hope and change for good in their lives. His five years of working with the homeless population has taught him valuable lessons of compassion, humility, endurance, and love that is much needed in the world today. Since his early 20's, Mr. Pendleton also has learned much about service to others by serving as a minister in several churches throughout the United States. His vision and mission in life is to follow the mandate and commandment of Jesus Christ by going out into all the world and preach His message of hope. Even if many do not listen to this message, Mr. Pendleton is filled with joy when there is the one person who will stand out and say that they want to make a change for the good in their life. Mr. Pendleton is currently attending college, majoring in Elementary Education, in order to transition over from working in detention to working in the school classroom with hopes of making a positive impact on the youth in their early stages of life. In addition, he hopes to teach the youth of today that education is the key to having a life from detention to honorable mention.
