Overview

Following Jesus 4 Kids is a Bible-study book for kids who want to learn how to follow Jesus' example of obeying God in everything. Kids will learn how to be a follower and disciple of Jesus by imitating Him and His disciples as they learn God's Word and receive the Holy Spirit's help. They will see how Jesus and His early followers lived so they can choose to live the same way, and help others to do the same! Jesus said and did everything God the Father told Him to say and do. And He did this by the power and help of the Holy Spirit. In the Bible we see that Jesus chose a group of men and called them to follow Him just like He followed the Father. These men became His disciples because they followed Jesus, were taught by Him, imitated Him and shared His love and power with the world. Following Jesus 4 Kids will help kids learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and how to follow Him fully. In this resource, kids will learn about following Jesus through: Loving + Obeying Studying + Applying Praying + Praising Worshiping + Working Resisting + Overcoming Serving + Giving Although this book is for kids of any age to be led through by a parent or leader in their life, the writing is geared toward kids ages 7-12.
