Overview

Meet Flynn, in many ways a typical middle-grade school kid. Flynn's week ends on a high note of sorts-which is just as well, because as he found out the hard way, things aren't always what they appear at first. That, and some kids can be downright mean at times. If you're a typical sort of ten-year-old, then chances are you'll know about some of the difficulties Flynn faces. Author Information

Matthew Goddard is a New Zealand scientist and successful author of published works in international neuroscientific journals. As a father, and passionate reader of literary fiction, Matthew wrote Flynn Hyland's Mysterious Animal, intending it to be a real-life inspired story for his own high achieving eight-year old son. Flynn Hyland's Mysterious Animal has since been published, and is Matthew Goddard's first ever children's literary fiction novel.
