Overview

"Tobiah was one of three men who opposed Nehemiah as he rebuilt Jerusalem's walls. After Nehemiah returned to Babylon, the high priest invited Tobiah to set up his household in the Temple's storerooms. This betrayal forced the priests and Levites to leave the Temple to earn their living elsewhere. Ministry stopped to the people and to the nations. Today, Tobiah's devastating presence in the lives of many Christians has done great harm to the purity and holiness of the Lord's testimony.
