OverviewTribology is an unfamiliar term for many, but is experienced by all. It is the science of friction, wear and lubrication of contacting surfaces in relative motion. (Eng.) from the Military Technical College, Egypt, in 1994, and got his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in 2003 and 2011 respectively, from Alexandria University, Egypt. He is a full member of the Egyptian Society of Tribology, EGTRIB. His publications include a book titled Wear of Polymers and Composites (2014) and numerous research papers in reputed engineering journals.
