OverviewPolitical philosophy is rooted in moral philosophy, where prescriptions of right action for the individual are amplified to prescriptions of right action for state and in standard political philosophy the ethical base is typically provided by Kantianism or Utilitarianism(Metz, 2009, p. 335).
