Having lived in Sweden for several years, he graduated with an MA in International Migration and Ethnic Relations from Malmö University, before pursuing a PhD in Sociology in Auckland. His doctoral research forms the basis of this book. Dr Wyver’s research interests also cover racism and anti-racism, and environmental sociology and sustainability.
