She studied diplomacy and served briefly at the Italian Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal. Previously, she worked at the European Institute for Security Studies, the Assembly of the West European Union, produced research for the Budget Division of OECD GOV and for the International Secretariat of Amnesty International (Paris Office). She is a Global Royster Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, was part of the European China Resource Advise Network, and a Taiwan Fellow researcher of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the ROC, affiliated with the College of International Affairs of NCCU.
