She has published several articles in international journals and also published case studies in international case publishing houses, on Strategic Management, Perspectives in Management including Environmental Management. She guides doctoral students to conduct research in various areas of Management and serves as a thesis guide and examiner for PhD programs in Management. The author's other interests are Management training and consultancy in the area of Strategic Management, Environmental Management, Environmental Ethics, Managerial Effectiveness Training for Environmental NGOs, and Sustainability reporting practices. Dr. Bala has been associated with other eminent business schools including JBIMS, University of Mumbai. She has received several awards for being the best teacher and researcher.
