An expert in international energy issues, he has published widely on EU energy markets, the EU energy and climate policy, and Euro-Mediterranean energy relations. He is the author of the book The Geo-economics of Sovereign Wealth Funds and Renewable Energy (Claeys & Casteels Publishers, 2012) and co-author of the book The Future of European Gas Markets (Claeys & Casteels Publishers, 2016).
