He's a comic book artist, illustrator and arts and literature teacher. He founded and presided the independent comic book artists' association in the late 90s. He was also a founder member of La Productora, a prestigious award winning independent publisher in Argentina. Cristian Mallea is now the director of the comic art school Eugenio Zoppi. His work was published in Argentina, France, Brazil, Uruguay and USA. He recently did General Lee's and George Washington's graphic novel biographies and Bigfoot and Adaptation and Mummies and Sound for Capstone Press.
