"Never too young to learn the value of money / J. Chambers The story is a nice lesson for kids to earn their own way instead of expecting others to pay for everything. Emily and Daniel came to realize that their parents weren't ""made of money"" and that their own efforts could be helpful to themselves and to their parents. Learning about becoming financially independent would serve them well throughout their life. Great book, I definitely would have wanted to read ... / Theodore Karkatsoulis Great book, I definitely would have wanted to read this as a child... I'll gift it to my nephew Jason, so he will not do the same mistakes I see all over the place now, and start becoming a bit financially literate from now on...;) Thanks! Money well earned! / Gillybean What a wonderful story teaching children how to work hard & honestly for something they desire. It's a wonderful feeling when you make you're own money and are awarded by purchasing something you've longed for. That item is much more appreciated when you've worked so hard. We are hoping to start our 6-year-old on an allowance for helping around the house. This book will be a wonderful read for her to understand what we're doing. Children will love the story, parents will love the lessons the child learns / Amy Herman The children in the story helped to motivate my children to be more financially responsible. Not only does it teach about the concept of financial responsibility, it also has a game that comes with the story that teaches the children about world money. My children play matching games all day long matching up the money with the country that it comes from."
