OverviewEddie Gonzales is in a wheelchair, but he would like to play baseball. Though he plays with friends who are on the local baseball team, he can only watch when they are in a game. When Eddie's sister tells Ryley that Eddie would love to be part of the team, Ryley dreams of Eddie being able to play in the game. She keeps after her brother to give Eddie a chance until he finally gives in. Eddie runs into some obstacles, but he gets his turn at being catcher. What happens is very interesting and inspiring as he meets the challenges from facing a bully to trying to catch the ball. This is a very inspiring book.
