Author Information

Bennie L. Hannah was born in Merced, California, and grew up in the nearby city of Turlock. Since he was about 16 years old, he has had a deepening interest in the area of spirituality, science, metaphysical studies, and poetry. His travels have allowed him to experienced many different cultures around the world, which have helped to shape and reinforce his world view that 'All are One'. Bennie worked for the U.S. Forest Service in California while undergoing his Bachelor's Degree in Natural Resources Management at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Shortly thereafter, he joined the U.S. Peace Corps in Nepal as a Forestry Volunteer and later returned for a short period as a Forestry Trainer. Afterward, he returned to San Luis Obispo to do his Master's Degree in International Agricultural Development before moving to Frankston, Australia, where he currently lives. He worked for the City of Melbourne, Victoria for 18 years, before being retrenched. It was during this introspective period that he reconnected with the writings from his youth and began writing again. Bennie started working for a Community Development organization in The Greater City of Dandenong, Victoria. It was during this period that all but one of the selections within this book were written. He is an avid hiker and bush walker. He has two sons.
